WE’VE spotted a sweet deal for Android lovers on the latest Samsung release, and it comes with a free Galaxy Tablet.

For £19 upfront and £44.99 a month, you can nab the S24 Ultra along with a hefty 500GB data allowance.

Carphone Warehouse is offering the S24 Ultra and 500GB of data for £44.99p/m, and you’ll get a free Samsung Tablet to match

The S24 Ultra burst onto the mobile scene in January 2024 and is the first phone from Samsung in the AI era, when everything is tagged as being operated by artificial intelligence.

Senior Tech Writer Jamie Harris actually managed to get his hands on the standout handset shortly after its release and in his Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review he found ‘there’s a lot to shout about.’

If you’re a longtime Apple fan but you’ve been thinking about switching to the (almost always cheaper) Android, you’ll be pleased to know Jamie found it superior to the iPhone in three different ways.

He noted: ‘The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s stunning night-defying camera, hefty battery and solid premium style beat the iPhone for me.’

We see a return of the 6.8-inch screen, and while the Quad HD+ screen that the S23 Ultra had also makes a comeback, the S24 has a 2600-nit display and Improved Vision Booster, which enhances contrast and colour.

It’s also worth noting that the standard, non-Ultra Galaxy S24 is a solid alternative choice coming in with a slightly smaller 6.2-inch screen and matching some other specs like refresh rate and the Dynamic AMOLED screen type.

So, if you’re looking for a slightly lower-cost choice, I spotted an S24 deal that still gets you the free tablet but with a much lower monthly cost: just £29.99.

If you don’t feel the 6.8-inch screen is large enough for you to catch up on your favourite shows you can always use that 500GB data allowance to hotspot your free Galaxy Tablet S6 Lite and watch there instead.

Colours are not the only thing you’ll notice, as its 120Hz refresh rate means smooth scrolling, gaming or streaming, especially if you’re coming from a device that was capped at 60Hz.

You won’t be scuffing the beautiful display anytime soon, either, since it’s made of the much tougher titanium rather than aluminium.

The screen also has a new Corning Gorilla Armor glass that Samsung claims is the “most scratch-resistant yet”, so it’ll handle a fair few knocks before it gives out.

It’s worth noting that the camera configuration is still the same as the S23 Ultra, with a 200-MP wide-resolution camera, 12-MP ultra-wide, and two 10-MP telephoto.

However, Jamie found that ‘the real changes are behind the scenes where AI and software boosts the results, especially for things like low lighting.’

If you’re interested in seeing how these photos come out compared to previous iterations, it’s definitely worth reading his Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review.

The brand-new phone is definitely the main draw here, don’t forget you’ll also be getting the Galaxy Tablet 6 Lite completely free.

While Carphone Warehouse placed it at worth £349, after a quick search, we found it currently on sale on Amazon for £249.99.

So, although you could argue that the price on Carphone Warehouse is slightly inflated, it’s still a considerable free addition.

Samsung’s S24 Ultra is definitely packed with a fair few frills and fancy features, but understandably, it also comes with a huge price tag; flagship devices are never usually cost-conscious.

However, if you’re still after a new device but are working with a smaller budget, last week I spotted a great deal on Samsung’s latest budget-friendly release, the Galaxy A35, which costs just £18.99 a month.
