As to be expected from a smart device, it comes with a convenient smartphone app that allows you to turn off the plug wherever you are.
So if you forgot something plugged in or you simply want to kick the kids off of the game, the power is in your hands.
You can also schedule times for the plug to turn on and off, so if you have a bedside lamp you can have that automatically switch on and off matching your sleeping patterns.
Anyone who’s a fan of Alexa will appreciate this: these plugs also compatible with Echo smart speakers allowing you to turn them on and off with just your voice.
