THERE’S an robot vacuum deal on Amazon that’s gone down well with shoppers and become a best-seller.

Robo vacs typically cost anywhere between £100 and £2,000, but it’s always worth taking a look at Amazon best-selling robot vacuums page, where there’s usually a few different options on sale.

You can spend a bit less– or much more– on a robot vacuum, but I’m earmarking the Ultenic D5s as a solid budget-end device. Especially now it’s £100 cheaper.

This is actually a four-in-one device that vacuums, sweeps, rolls and mops – and will automatically adjust its suction strength when it moves from carpets to hard floors.

It’s operable with a remote control, but my guess is that you’ll get much more use by downloading the Ultenic App to your smartphone.

If you pair it up with a smart device like an Echo Dot, you can also activate the vac by commanding Alexa.

With that, you can schedule the D5s to clean at certain times of the day (like when you’re out at work), and on a regular basis.

The in-built sensors will prevent it from knocking into furniture or going crashing down flights of stairs – and it will return automatically to its charging stand when it’s out of juice.

It’s got an average rating of 4.3 out of 5 on the Amazon, with lots of shoppers leaving mostly positive reviews.

One shoppers writes: ‘This vacuum is magical! Love this item, it works with our home.’

Another buyer comments: ‘I’ve only been using this machine for a month or so, but I’m very impressed. Cleans thoroughly, rugs and hard floors, under furniture and into the corners.

‘The suction is powerful and the roller brush is a great tool, picks up everything from rugs and hard floors alike… I’ve named mine ‘Merlin”.

That’s quite the nickname. We’re not sure if that’s because of the magical results it delivers – but regardless, if you like the sound of this robotic helper, make sure you pick it up before it goes back up to full price.
