ANYBODY thinking about spring cleaning (or how to avoid it) should head to Amazon.
Shoppers on the website are currently dashing to pick up the Eufy L60 robot vacuum cleaner, which has been reduced from £249.99 to £199.98.

I found this deal while looking through Amazon’s best-selling robot vacuums page earlier today.
The retailer’s best-sellers lists are always a good place to go hunting for items that are on sale.
This is currently the second-most popular robot vac on the site, and with that 20% price drop, I’m not surprised.
Robot vacuums have been on the scene for a few years now, but it’s only been in the last couple of years that I’ve watched them grow in popularity.
I’ve not tested the L60 myself, but I can tell you that Eufy is a market-leading manufacturer so this comes bearing a reputable name.
With its £250 RRP, this is a mid-range model in the Eufy range, but after that £50 discount, it’s a far more budget-friendly choice.
It certainly has its limits: Eufy say it work with carpets up to 26mm in depth, so might struggle with shagpile or heavy rugs.
But for standard carpeting and hard floors, the L60 should do an solid job – and will automatically adjust its suction strength as it moves between surfaces.
It also comes armed with LIDAR (laser mapping) tech, something you don’t see in cheaper robot vacs.
Essentially, it will scan, map and record your home so you can get it to clean more effectively.
For example, via the Eufy smartphone app you can programme ‘no-go’ zones for the vac to avoid.
It’s also Alexa-compatible, so you can operate it with voice orders, not just the app and remote.
Yes, you can spend way more on robot vacs with a bigger range of features and horsepower, but for anybody keeping a leash on their spending this looks like a great deal to pounce on.
The Eufy L60 currently has an average user rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Amazon, alongside reviews that are overwhelmingly positive.
One customer writes: ‘I’ve been waiting [to buy] a robot vacuum for a while but my husband didn’t think it would be worth the money… I’m so glad I took the risk, it’s one of the best things I’ve bought.
‘[The] suction is great, I find it picks up really well both on carpet and hard floor… The charge lasts well. Decent sized waste compartment.’
Another shopper says: ‘ [It’s] a must for pet owners… It picks up a surprising amount of dust and debris, even when you use it daily.’
