AMAZON has dropped the price on this top-brand Chromebook, and it’s flying off the shelves.

The Acer Chromebook Spin 311, originally priced at nearly £300, is now a steal at £179.10.

We’re always impressed by Amazon’s tech offerings, and I’ve spotted another gem that’ll help save big.

You’ll find the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 available for just £179.10, saving shoppers a huge £120.89. Not bad, eh?

It’s exciting to see such a significant discount just a few weeks before Amazon’s Prime Day deals arrive in mid-July.

If you’re looking for a portable device that can handle both work and play, this Chromebook is a steal with 40% off.

What sets this model apart from your run of the mill laptop is just how portable it is.

It’s got a footprint smaller than a piece of A4 paper and weighs just over 1 kg, making it ultra-portable.

But the showstopper here is the 360-degree hinge, which offers four versatile modes: tent, laptop, tablet, and display, so whatever your working style, you’re covered.

Under the hood, the Spin 311 is powered by an efficient octa-core CPU and 4GB of RAM, it ensures smooth performance, complemented by 64GB of storage.

The 11.6-inch HD IPS touchscreen is a solid size for just a lightweight bit of kit.

Being a Google powered device, it runs on Chrome OS, offering simplicity, speed, security, and access to millions of apps on the Google Play Store.

It has certainly made its mark on customers, who’ve awarded it a 4.4 out of 5-stars on the Amazon site.

Out of over 460 reviews, the Acer Chromebook garnered a stellar 5-star rating from 333 users, and another 75 users rated it a solid 4 stars.

One user was particularly impressed by its “small, compact, speedy” performance, adding: “Good value. My old computer will be converted to a Linux system after Windows 10 finishes and will use the Chromebook as well. A good alternative.”

Another wrote: “It is incredibly lightweight as well. Laptops of old used to leave your legs feeling dead after using them they were that heavy.”

They continued: “The battery life is amazing! I only use it in the evenings and It still has plenty of battery charge left after 3 or 4 days.”

While a third commented: “The keyboard-touchscreen option is so useful. Lovely and light but doesn’t feel feeble or fragile.”
