AMAZON’S Spring Sale is now in its final day, with hours to go before all its smart tablets go back to full price.
The best price drop is on the Fire HD Tablet 8, which has been reduced from £99.99 to £59.99.

Amazon launched its Spring Deal Days sale today, and some of the biggest savings are on its own devices, including the 8-inch HD tablet from the Fire range.
The sale ends at midnight tonight (Monday 25th March).
That hefty discount on the Fire HD 8 amounts to a £40 saving: that’s the lowest price we’ve seen in 2024 so far.
While this offer on the Fire 8 Tablet is impressive, it’s just one of many deals on Amazon devices available this week.

This latest version of the Fire 8 Tablet is smoother and snappier thanks to an updated hexa-core processor, delivering about 30% faster performance than the previous generation.
Its redesigned 8-inch screen now features strengthened aluminosilicate glass, known for its durability, which Amazon claims is twice as tough as the Apple iPad Mini.
That’s a welcome upgrade if you’re buying with kids in mind – all parents know the bumps and knocks their gadgets endure.
The cherry on top is the 13 hours of juice in the tank, more than enough for all your reading, browsing, video-watching, and music-listening needs, whether at home or on the move.
You’ll tackle all these tasks with the built-in Alexa, which can also facilitate video calls to friends and family or download apps with just your voice.
The tablet has earned a solid 4.5-star rating on Amazon, with shoppers praising its quality, value, and performance in their reviews.
We haven’t tested this device ourselves, but that rating speaks to its capabilities.
‘A replacement for the Fire 7 tablet [that’s] worth every penny,’ says one shopper. ‘I bought this whilst on offer, and the speed difference is staggering.’
Another user went as far as to say the Fire tablet is ‘no different to an iPad,’ adding: ‘The updates are great, excellent battery life, fast, great apps installed, and for £62 ad-free, it smashes the iPad mini out of the ballpark.’
Another wrote: ‘A beautiful little tablet with all I could ever need at my fingertips. Screen clarity is superb and the sound is better than any tablet I have tried previously.’
