AMAZON’S Spring Sale finished yesterday but there’s a still a top-grade TV deal to pick up.
One of the most popular items in the sale is the 55-inch TV from Toshiba’s UF3D range, which has been reduced from £450 to £289.

I spotted this price drop while scrolling through Amazon’s best-selling electronics page in its five-day sale.
That’s an epic discount, and an impressive asking price for a 55-inch TV: picking no wonder shoppers are rushing to get their hands on it.
This doesn’t come with some of the extra frills you would expect from higher-end TVs, such as OLED or QLED picture tech.
But of course, for TVs of that calibre you’re looking at a spend of around £400 or more (and potentially much, much more).
For the average viewer (and one whose current TV is perhaps starting to look rather small by today’s standards) this honestly stands out to me as an absolute steal.

One definite draw is that the Toshiba UF3D comes with Amazon’s Fire TV platform – that’s the same smart platform you’ll find in the retailer’s streaming sticks and smart televisions (both of which are currently on sale).
This is an industrywide-respected platform that sets you up with access to all your services like Netflix, Disney+ and, of course, Amazon Prime.
Unsurprisingly for a TV sporting Amazon tech, it’s got Alexa compatibility.
Via the mic button on the remote, you can get the voice assistant to switch channels or platforms, check the weather, and operate any other smart devices you’ve got connected to the same system.
Other credentials – Dolby Atmos audio, Dolby Vision HDR picture tech – simply seal the deal.
The 55-inch Toshiba UF3D has racked up an average rating of 4.2 out of 5 on the Amazon site, alongside a long list of chiefly positive reviews.
‘Wow!’ writes one shopper. ‘What can l say, a fantastic TV.
Very user-friendly, phenomenal picture. Best set l have ever owned.’
Another customer writes: ‘The TV is fantastic. Audio and visually impressive, although I’m not a fan of Dolby’s smart setting.
‘[There’s] no lag on the home screen at all and the ability to link with Alexa is a good bonus for switching off when feeling very lazy. Overall, this TV is a complete bargain.’
The Amazon Spring Deal Days sale runs until midnight on Monday (25th March). So on the assumption that stocks last, you’ve got until then to make your mind up about this super-cheap TV.
It’s also worth taking a look at Amazon’s very own slashed Fire TV range, where the 55-inch 4-Series model has been reduced from £549.99 to £379.99.
