Amazon Prime Day is in full swing, and one of the best mobile deals I’ve spotted is on a mid-range Samsung smartphone.
Amazon has slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy A35 by 26% for the 48-hour sale, taking the total cost down from £389 to £289.

The two-day sales frenzy kicked off this morning, with thousands of discounts available – and on some major tech brands, including Android giant Samsung.
The Galaxy A35 comes from the brand’s more affordable A Series line of smartphones: a budget-friendly alternative to the flagship S Series range of mobiles (though you’ll find some of them on offer for Prime Day).
Providing you’ve got an Amazon Prime subscription, you can pick up this mid-range handset for £100 less than usual.
While the A35 is by no means a premium device, in some respects, it’s actually better than the top-end A Series.
The A35 bests one main aspect of flagship devices like the Galaxy S24: the battery, arguably one of its standout features.
With a massive 5,000mAh, it’s the largest battery in any Samsung device and promises up to 2 days of service before you need to charge it back up.
The Super AMOLED Infinity-O display has a refresh rate of 120Hz, which means you’ll scroll, stream and game much smoother.
Although 60Hz is pretty smooth, jumping to twice the number means you’ll notice the incredible difference higher rates provide.
Samsung’s A35 follows the successful pattern of a triple rear camera configuration we see in iPhones and Samsung’s most popular devices.
You’ll get access to an Ultrawide 8MP, 50MP rear camera, and 5MP macro camera – no matter the photo, you’re equipped for the job.
Amazon shoppers have great things to say about the device. As one states the A35 is ‘so slick and fast’ and is ‘perfect [to] use so far so good’.
Another claim is that it’s an ‘excellent phone for the money’.
The same buyer goes on to note: ‘The Samsung A35 is fast and responsive. The camera is great for my needs. The sound is great!’.
Just make sure you’re signed up to Prime before you jump on this deal.
That being said: before you do that, it’s well worth weighing up your options. This isn’t the only Samsung mobile on offer in the Prime Day sale, and you’ll find cheaper and pricier options available.
