AMAZON Prime Day is underway and there a number of TVs included in the two-day sale.
One of the best deals I’ve seen is on the 50-inch TCL C641K 4K television, which has been reduced from £379 to £274.

Amazon’s 48-hour sale for Prime members kicked off this morning, with some of the best price drops on electronic devices and smart gadgets.
Some of the TVs on sale are super-cheap budget devices. Some are frankly enormous devices (seriously, good luck if you can fit this beastinto your living room).
Here, then, is a mid-range, mid-size telly that at 50 inches, looks like a pretty good shout for the average shopper’s viewing space.
If you’re not sure what size television is right for your space, head to our what size TV to buy explainer.
Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the TCL C641K is the QLED screen tech – something that, up until recently, you would never find in TVs this side of £400.
4K-quality television are now the established norm (at least, in TVs of 43 inches or over).
But QLED, or ‘quantum dot’ technology, improves upon the standard Ultra High Definition picture: think darker darks, richer colours and better levels of contrasts.
At the sale price of £274, this is a real steal, though you may want to weigh it up against Amazon’s 50-inch Omni QLED series television, which has been reduced from £649.99 to £379.99.
That Amazon-made set boasts the same superior screen tech, and comes with the retailer’s Fire TV platform, something still most associated with its line of streaming Fire Sticks.
If the TCL C641K were full price, I’d suggest you went with the Omni TV. But it isn’t: it’s over £100 cheaper than usual.
It uses the AndroidTV platform, which will set you up nicely with instant access to Netflix, Disney+ and all the other usual apps and services.
It’s also got some other nice credentials on the box, namely audio from Dolby Atmos.
Amazon customers have left largely positive reviews on the site, alongside an average rating of 4.1 out of 5.
One buyer writes: ‘Picture-wise, I couldn’t be happier – [it’s] not grainy, no lag etc. The dark colours are all comfortably handled and the standard sound output was a vast improvement on my last LG 55-inch set.’
‘I’m not a tech geek,’ writes another customer. ‘All I can say is the picture quality is fabulous and super-clear. Lots of settings to play with.
‘Unpacking and set up only took one hour or so – it’s pretty simple, although automatic tuning of the tv took quite a few attempts.’
This is one of several Prime Day TV deals listed on the Amazon website right now – but keep in mind, these are all exclusively available for Prime members.
Oh, and also remember: come midnight tomorrow (Wednesday 17th July), they’ll all be gone when Amazon Prime Day draws to a close.
